This is a wheel-thrown stoneware clay vase with a beautiful layered and painterly look. A lovely taupe color is topped with a collar of light pink, with a lightly scraped neck edge between the two colors along with a zipper of carved hashmarks, exposing the lovely reddish-brown clay underneath.  This vase has a pleasing full shape, and is the perfect container for a few stems or small bunch of your favorite flowers.
 
6 in high and about 4 in wide. Opening is 1.5 in wide.
Watertight.
